Thanks for stopping by! I can’t wait to get to know you. To begin, I am a professional photographer serving Nashville, Tennessee, and beyond. I specialize in weddings, but I also love boudoir and branding photography. I specialize in natural light photography indoors and outdoors. I’m a wife and dog mom to my four rescue pups. Grizz, Gracie, Sugar, and Spice are my whole world! I am extremely passionate about capturing real heartfelt moments especially the ones that we won’t get to relive. From wedding days to the addition of a new family member, they are all such beautiful moments that I intend to capture for you. So that you can hold onto them for a lifetime.
When I am not behind the camera capturing the beautiful movements, you can find me cuddled up in front of a fire roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. You might even find me browsing the aisles of Home Goods or watching yet another episode of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. while I edit.
Again, I want to thank you for taking a peek into my little corner of the internet. Take a look around. This page will give you some insight into who I am, but you may want to check out the portfolio link to see more of my work.
I love almost everything about Wisconsin except it's ridiculously cold weather. There is nothing quite like Wisconsin in the fall. The beautiful colors always have me missing home in the fall. Of course I love all the Wisconsin things, like cheese curds. I'm talking about the ones that squeak when you bite into them! Ya know? Another Wisconsin favorite is their wine.. there is just something about that Door County Cherry wine.
Four dogs may seem excessive, but I blame my husband, Jake. When we first met, he tried winking at me to get me to notice him. When that didn’t get the job done, he asked if I wanted to meet his sweet little puppy, Gunner. I did say no the first time, but Jake was nothing but persistent. As for meeting Gunner, he is impossible not to fall in love with. I do give Jake credit for his persistence and for finding my weakness: a love for animals both large and small. That’s how our happy family began and why we are known as the Rusty Bunch.
I have always enjoyed the great outdoors and grew up traveling with my family. Now the outdoors is something I can share with my little family. If I'm not shooting a wedding or serving my clients on the weekend you'll probably find me hiking, traveling, or doing some outdoor activity.
While I'm not a coffee or soda drinker.... I drink sweet tea like it's water. I don't know if it's because we didn't have sweet tea up north, but I never take it for granted. The same goes for Chick-Fil-A. I didn't really discover it until we moved to Nashville and now I can't stop.
My creative journey started when I was gifted a silver Sony digital camera for Christmas. I was eleven, and there wasn’t a thing I didn’t photograph. That little camera guided me to college where I studied photography and graphic design. School allowed me the space to explore my creativity. Eventually, it led me to my dream job. I am so incredibly thankful that my clients entrust me with the responsibility of capturing their special moments.
